Life before the trip

Life always seems to get busier before leaving on a trip.  This time is no exception.  I have spent the last week working with a great team of volunteers at the Frank Bette Center to Curate and hang our annual Alameda on Camera show.  48 photographers had 48 hours to take photos in their one piece of map section of Alameda during the last weekend in February.  The final images are on the walls and ready to be shared.  We encourage creative views and manipulation.  I am totally excited about what everyone brought, from abstract to hyper realistic.  Best show yet!  The show runs April 4 to May 31st.  It fills all of our galleries at the Frank Bette Center for the Arts.  Find us at http://www.frankbettecenter.org
or stop by at 1601 Paru Street, Alameda, CA 94501 Thurs - Sunday 11-6 (except Sunday when we close at 5.

I will miss the opening reception next Friday evening, April 11 as we will be en route to San Luis Potosì.  I'm sure it will be great party.
